Mark Ellick was raised in a conservative Jewish home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a young Jewish man searching for purpose and meaning in life, Mark was confronted with the Gospel by Jewish believers in Jesus. After studying the Scriptures (and wrestling with God), Mark put his trust in Messiah in May of 1971.
Mark holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Villanova University and an M.S. degree in education from Saint Joseph's University. Mark has always been involved in his local congregation, and has been active in evangelism, sharing the Gospel with both Jews and Gentiles.
Mark has now been called by God into full-time ministry, and is answering that call as a missionary with Chosen People Ministries. He serves in Irvine, California, where he is involved in evangelism, music ministry, and teaching and preaching God's Word. Mark is also attending Talbot Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a master of theology degree.
"I find great joy in sharing God's Word with Jewish people," says Mark, "and seeing them come to a growing faith in Messiah Yeshua!"
