Elias and Rosa Habif
Elias was raised in a conservative Jewish family. He attended Hebrew school and was an observant Jew until age 18. He heard about and accepted Jesus the Messiah through Chosen People Ministries in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1983.
Elias and his wife, Rosa, immediately began volunteering with Chosen People Ministries. On December 17, 1988 he was ordained and in March 1989 began working full-time with the organization.
Elias and Rosa have been ministering in Argentina and throughout South America. They have seen the Lord open doors for them to bring the message of salvation to our beloved Jewish people. With great joy, they have seen many Jewish people receive Yeshua (Jesus) as their Lord and Savior, as well as many Gentiles understand the importance and the urgency of bringing the Good News to the Chosen People.
The Habifs are now pioneering Chosen People Ministries' work in Mexico City. The hope of their heart is to bring the Gospel, as the word of God says: "to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Rom. 1:16).
