Simcha 2009 Messianic Retreat
Carlisle, Pennsylvania, once again will be the lovely setting of Simcha (Joy!), Chosen People Ministries' annual Messianic retreat in partnership with Son of David Messianic Congregation of Wheaton, Maryland. The theme will be The Parables of Yeshua Through Jewish Eyes. We hope you will join us for what will certainly be a wonderful time of worship, teaching, fellowship and fun!

Speaker: Roy Schwarcz
Our featured speaker will be Roy Schwarcz, a Messianic leader who has helped to plant three congregations with Chosen People Ministries. Roy has also served as Pastor of Evangelism at Moody Church in Chicago, and is the author of the book Where Jesus Walked. He is presently pastor of one of the oldest Messianic Jewish congregations in the United States - Adat Hatikvah (Congregation of the Hope) in Evanston, Illinois.
Roy will bring inspiring biblical exposition, stressing the Gospel's Jewish context. He will also lead two workshops on Messianic leadership entitled "Building Messianic Community" and "The Messianic Community and Evangelism."
Fun for Kids
We are planning a spectacular kids' program that features joyful worship and challenging Bible teaching. Your kids will enjoy Hebrew lessons, games, snacks and Jewish arts and crafts!
Teen Simcha
Mike Vowell, Messianic pastor of outreach and evangelism, will be leading a program for teens ages 13-18 that features modern worship, workshops on life challenges and main sessions exploring the relevance of God's Word to issues faced by teens today. And of course, the teens can expect some great games and fun when night falls!
