Dr. Noel Rabinowitz
Noel Rabinowitz was raised in a secular Jewish home and became a believer in 1981 while serving in the Marine Corps. For many years he had struggled with the question of how a person could be Jewish and believe in Jesus. A fellow Marine answered that question when he showed Noel that Jesus was the promised Messiah predicted in the Jewish Scriptures.
After attending a Christian retreat for Jewish believers in Jesus, Noel knew he was called to ministry, especially as he studied Romans 9 through 11. Noel became deeply burdened for the salvation of their own people.
Noel says, "It gives me tremendous joy to see my own people come to know their Messiah. But I'm also excited about Jewish evangelism because it proves to all the world that the God of Israel keeps His promises."
In 1985 Noel enrolled in Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Israel and Jewish Studies. He earned a Master of Theology degree in Old Testament studies from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1994 and has recently completed a Ph.D. in Louisville, Kentucky.
As a Chosen People Ministries staff member, Noel engages in one-on-one evangelism and the discipleship of new believers in New York City. He is also a gifted Bible teacher and speaker.
