I am sure you know that 2019 marks our 125th year of service to the Lord and the Jewish people. In 1892, a rabbi immigrated from Hungary and, while walking on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, stopped at a little Dutch Reformed church where a young firebrand of a missionary was preaching the gospel in Yiddish to a room filled with Jewish people.
Rabbi Cohn was given a New Testament which he read and soon thereafter became a follower of Jesus. In 1894 he began this Mission which was then called the Brownsville Mission to the Jews. Later on it became the Williamsburg Mission to the Jews, and then the American Board of Missions to the Jews. Finally in the early 1980s our ministry changed its name to Chosen People Ministries.
Rabbi Cohn understood God’s call to preach the gospel to the Jew first and also to the Gentile (Romans 1:16) in major Jewish population centers around the globe. We are now continuing Rabbi Cohn’s vision by proclaiming the gospel in over twenty cities within North America and in seventeen countries around the world.

This year we celebrate God’s amazing faithfulness bringing us into our 125th year of Ministry to the Jewish people. 125 years ago a Rabbi from Hungary left his old life behind and chose to dedicate his life to sharing the gospel with his fellow Jewish people. It is the Lord’s grace that sustained Chosen People Ministry through many trials, and preserved us, flourished us and brought us to our 125th year.
We are looking forward to reaching Jewish people all over the world in more creative, timely ways than ever before. We have reached thousands of Israelis with our online Isaiah 53 campaign and over one million people have watched our ifoundshalom testimony videos. We look forward to expanding our reach online, as well as new endeavors in reaching Israeli travelers, and Jewish people in our own communities as well.
Please pray that this 125th year will tip off many years to come of fruitful ministry to the Jewish people, that more Jewish people hear the gospel than ever before!
