In this presentation, one of our missionaries will set up a traditional Passover Seder table in the sanctuary and demonstrate how the various Passover items are used and share the traditional way Jewish people view these items and then how Jesus gave them new meaning at the Last Supper. If you opt for a banquet, this presentation can be held in your all-purpose room. The banquets are lots of fun and allow for your entire congregation to participate.
With this presentation, your church will:
- Understand the big picture of redemption history by connecting the Passover of Exodus, through the traditions of Judaism, to the last Supper that Jesus had with His disciples.
- Discover the connections between the Old and New Testaments and how they relate personally to their lives.
- Recognize how Jesus did not come out of a vacuum but was the powerful fulfillment of the Passover Lamb who redeems them from slavery to sin and death.
