Thank you for ending the year strong!
Friends like you helped boost year-end giving and support in the final weeks of December, and we are grateful! Your faithfulness in those critical moments is already at work accomplishing so much:
- Supporting our missionaries, congregations, and centers all across the globe that are preaching the gospel in most of the major Jewish population centers of the world
- Sending a message of hope to Israel and to Jewish people everywhere as you fight back against antisemitism and advocate for Israel
- Developing new tools and programs for even more effective Jewish evangelism
- And, of course, helping to launch our new campaign—To the Jew First, a year-long effort to raise $3.4 million that focuses on three critical areas of Jewish evangelism:
- Ministry in Israel
- Ministry through digital media
- Ministry to the next generation
Thank you for being part of all this. Every prayer and every gift will make a tremendous impact among Jewish people, blessing God’s chosen people.
Jay Sekulow speaks up for Chosen People Ministries
Jay Sekulow has a message of encouragement for you! He is among our most enthusiastic supporters and recently spoke to a gathering of Chosen People Ministries partners, encouraging them to stay strong in their commitment to sharing Messiah with Jewish people.
Jay, the grandson of Russian Jewish immigrants, attended a Christian college. In Bible class, he was assigned to write a paper about Isaiah 53 and the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy in the New Testament. During his research, he came to the conclusion that Jesus was the Messiah! Jay soon chose faith in Christ—much to his Jewish parents’ dismay.
But as he told the audience at the Chosen People Ministries gathering, the seeds of the gospel, once planted, may come to fruition many years down the road. Things would change with his parents later, but that would take time.
Jay excelled in his career as a lawyer—he even won a case about Jewish evangelism before the Supreme Court in 1987! He also became a radio talk show host and founder of the American Center for Law and Justice, which defends the rights of Christians to freedom of religion and speech in the United States.
During these exciting days, some thirty years after Jay chose to follow Jesus, his mother came to faith in Messiah, too. And she became active in Jewish evangelism, as well. During a bout with cancer, she shared with her Jewish oncologist about the Messiah, Yeshua. She talked of the peace she had, even when facing cancer.
Ten years later, the oncologist wrote a letter telling how he and his wife had both chosen to follow Jesus, because of what they had learned from Jay’s mother!
“You have to think about the longevity,” Jay said. “I came to faith, thirty years later my mother came to faith, ten years after that the doctor and his family came to faith.”
Jay’s message is clear: Your investment in Chosen People Ministries is changing lives now but will go on changing lives for years to come! Thank you for partnering with us again today.
