Juan Corrales

Writer and Worship Specialist
serving in Brooklyn, New York

Juan grew up in a Christian home, where he had a deep love for God, His Word, and His people instilled in him from a very early age. He grew up convinced that, because Israel and the Jewish people are important to God, they should be important to all believers.

At age seven, Juan made the decision to trust Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and even as a young child, he felt God’s calling to serve Him. A gifted guitar player and worship leader, Juan began playing guitar on worship teams at the age of fourteen. Since then, he has had the opportunity to serve the Lord through music, leading worship with various ministries in churches and Messianic congregations.

While preparing to pursue a career in medicine after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in communications, Juan had the opportunity to serve with the traveling music ministry of world-renowned Messianic worship leader Paul Wilbur. During that time, he not only learned a great deal about Messianic Jewish ministry but also became convinced of his own calling to serve the Lord and His people, primarily through leading worship, writing, and teaching.

Juan joined Chosen People Ministries in 2019 while pursuing his Master of Divinity at the Charles L. Feinberg Center for Messianic Jewish Studies. He started serving in Messianic congregations and churches around New York City, as well as youth camps, conferences, and other special events across the country and abroad. Juan earned his degree in 2021 and continues to serve regularly at Beth Sar Shalom in Brooklyn as well as traveling to speak at churches and lead worship while building relationships and ministering among the Jewish communities of the New York City metro area.

Juan has a strong burden to serve as a bridge between the church and Israel—to help the church know its own Jewish foundations and to help the Jewish people know their Messiah, Jesus.
