Kirill and Elena Swiderski

Missionary
serving in Chicago, IL

Kirill was born into a nonreligious Jewish family in Moscow, Russia. At the age of 27 he left the country with his young family and immigrated to Germany. Kirill and his wife Elena came to believe in the Messiah after a believer traveling through their city missed his train to another city and ended up spending several days in their home. Of course, there are no accidents with the Lord.

After coming to believe in Messiah Jesus, their lives were changed dramatically and they were filled with passion for ministry. Kirill and Elena started visiting Russian Jewish people in their area, inviting them to a home group at their apartment.  After hearing the Gospel news many of those people accepted Jesus as their Messiah. The home group that Kirill and Elena founded grew so large that today it is one of the largest Messianic congregations in Germany.

Since 2008 Kirill lives with his family in the USA, serving the Lord among the large Russian-speaking Jewish community in Chicago. Through their ministry, a new messianic congregation which consists of 50 people, has been established. Kirill and Elena are also the editor-in-chief of the messianic newspaper  “Kol Hesed” (the Voice of Grace) in German and Russian languages.
