Dear friend in the Messiah,
I never thought I would have the joy of writing to you about the incredible discipleship and training opportunities we have today among Israeli young adults! I remember my first trip to Israel in 1976 and when there were only a few hundred Jewish believers. How times have changed!
Let me tell you about our Living Waters mentoring program in Israel!
Living Waters is unique in that it brings Spiritual Formation (a standard part of the curriculum in U.S. seminaries) to young Israelis in Messianic leadership roles who would otherwise have no access to this much-needed training.
The heart of the program is our mentoring retreats held 1- 2 times a year. The retreats successfully
- Equip emerging Israeli Messianic leaders in Israel by facilitating increased evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
- Create greater ministry cooperation, which leads to more dynamic evangelistic campaigns and greater unity and collaboration between local congregations and ministries within Israel.
- Develop a Biblically-based worldview in participants, which brings Gospel transformation to their congregations, ministries, workplaces, home-life, and Israeli society at large.
One such collaboration led to Isaiah 53 Explained (in Hebrew) being sent to almost 3,000 Israeli unbelievers—and more than a million Israelis have viewed high-quality online Hebrew-language testimony videos developed through a partnership between Chosen People Ministries and One for Israel.
The Living Waters program began with the generous support of a foundation, which funded us at the start. But now the Living Waters program is sustainable for roughly $30,000 per year or about $600 per person, per weekend retreat.
A gift of $300 provides half of what we need per individual for the retreat and $600 enables you to fully sponsor one of the Living Waters mentees! What an awesome opportunity to invest in the revival of the Gospel in Israel!

P.S. For your gift of $300 or more we would like to send you a beautiful shofar (ram’s horn) as a reminder to pray and to look forward to the trumpet that will one day sound announcing the coming of the Lord! (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
