Easter is the celebration of Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, and the Savior of the world.
The Messiah announced, “It is finished” (John 19:30) as He commended His earthly life to His Father’s care after suffering for humanity’s sins. The grace of God decreed that Messiah would be “…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).
However, we know that our Messiah is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father, and because of this we have a guarantee that we will share in the world to come.
