Stephen Arnold

Bio

Stephen is a Jewish believer from North Carolina. God gave him a love for Brazil and a desire to minister there as a result of three life-changing missions trips. God also gave him a heart to reach Jewish people, but Stephen struggled to see how these passions could work together. It was at a Christian guesthouse in Israel that he discovered that thousands of young Israelis travel through Brazil every year and stay in guesthouses for backpackers much like the one in Israel. As a missionary with Chosen People Ministries since 2012, he has shared the Gospel with Israelis in New Zealand, India and South America, and assisted in planting a Messianic congregation in Chicago.

Jenna was raised in South Carolina and came to faith as a child. She gained a heart for overseas missions through a number of international mission trips.

Through these experiences and her walk with the Lord, God pointed her to full-time overseas missions. To prepare for future ministry, she acquired her masters in intercultural studies in seminary. While studying for her degree, she met Stephen through a mutual friend and gained a heart for the Jewish people.

Stephen and Jenna were married in June 2019. Their goal is to start a guesthouse ministry to reach the thousands of Israelis who travel through Brazil every year. As young Jewish travelers are searching for the answers to life, Stephen and Jenna will be able to introduce them to the source of life, Jesus! While eating home cooked meals and studying the Bible, this ministry provides a safe place where Israelis can delve into the truth that Jesus is the Messiah of Israel and the world.
