Dear friend of the Jewish people,
Thank you so much for your prayers and concern for Israel and the more than two dozen Chosen People Ministries staff there.
Let me give you a quick and probably mid-attack update and ask you to keep praying for Israel.
Thankfully, our staff is safe. Most are in shelters. It looks like Israel, the United States, and Jordan are shooting down the first wave of drones and missiles as some of the aerial weapons flew over Jordan.
It also looks like both the United States and the United Kingdom have defended against many rockets launched by the Houthis, the Iranian proxies in Yemen. Additionally, there have been multiple rockets fired by Hezbollah, the Iranian proxies on the southern Lebanon border. The Iron Dome has proven to be most effective in protecting Israel from these more sophisticated rockets. However, there seems to be no end to the missiles and drones launched from Iran, as they continue to fly over Israel at this moment. Hundreds of siren warnings have sounded in Israel, which is so very unsettling, especially to the children.
There have also been some Israelis injured as the Iron Dome cannot keep the shrapnel from falling from the sky. It is sad to report that a ten-year-old boy received severe injuries to his head.
Please keep praying for the “peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) and her neighbors. Let us hope this does not escalate into a full-blown regional conflict. We have yet to see the end of the Iranian attack, and Israel has not responded offensively yet. It will be a longer night for Israel.
