To the Jew First — Christians develop Jewish evangelism skills
Thanks to First Baptist Church of Boca Raton, Florida, for hosting our first-ever To the Jew First conference on Jewish evangelism. This church is in the heart of one of the most significant Jewish communities in the entire world, so we were thrilled to be able to help local believers learn how to minister to their Jewish neighbors.
Sessions included …
- My teaching on Isaiah 53 and how it speaks of Messiah in very relevant ways for Jewish people
- Rich Freeman’s teaching on Romans 9–11, which are pivotal chapters that address God’s relationship to Israel—what changes with the coming of Messiah, and what stays the same
- Jim F.’s seminar and other workshops on sharing Jesus with Jewish people
One of the high points of the conference came when I asked how many in attendance were Messianic believers—and nearly seventy-five people stood! This is one more sign that God is doing a great work among the Jewish people of Florida.
Our hope is to expand the To the Jew First conference for presentation at churches in other cities and states. Be watching for more news about this in the months ahead.
