Dear beloved in the Messiah,
Shalom in our Messiah from your friends at Chosen People Ministries. I am writing to let you know that we are praying for you and looking for ways to practically help. Because of the experience those of us in New York City had with Hurricane Sandy and 9-11, we feel especially connected to you during this time of great catastrophe.
We understand that right now you are focused on surviving and trusting the Lord to protect your family, friends, and property. Though the future seems uncertain, I am sure that God is using you to comfort others who do not know the Savior and do not know where to turn in their grief and personal loss. We are praying that the Lord will provide all you need and give you a measure of extra strength so that you can help others around you.
May His comfort by His Spirit fill your heart and life and may you experience His love and deliverance every moment of your day. May His wisdom guide you in making hard decisions and give you hope for the future.
